My home and studio is in Westfield Vermont. The natural world grounds and inspires me to create art that infuse's people's homes with beauty, reverence and mystery. I see art making as an act of contemplating organic design, and our connection to the earth and Spirit.
Drawing and painting is a meditative act that allows my breath to deepen as my mind answers the most simple questions pertaining to form, and light; "what is in front, what is behind, is this lighter than that".  Slowing down and truly giving my attention to a bird, a flower, a cat, the moon, the sun, the clouds, the stars and the airy light and dark spaces between all things, leads me down a path where I seek to create art that captures the essence of life. I am a beauty seer paying homage to the natural world  and Spirit through observation and the act of creation.  In the end each piece possesses an essential life force, an energetic signature, and their own unique balance of light and dark.

Other things I enjoy are growing a diverse garden, writing haiku, having outdoor fires and making seasonal wreaths. I adore camping and being near water, woods, flowers, the ocean and the desert.  Celebrating with and nourishing family and friends is a great source of joy.
Thank you for visiting my site and please get in touch with me, as I am enjoy working on a commission base to create a custom piece for your home.

Thats my little big cat Jack in the background, and he loves to follow me around, which means he spends lots of time in the studio.
